Ill spend the rest of my life on my back - until everything’s slower
And then we’ll see just what we want it to be and ill forget it all over
Pretend that you’re okay, the end will feel the same right through
Promise you won’t feel bad, no gloves, no consequence - All you
Pile em all up in a stack - a clean break and its over
And then I’ll be just what you wanted to see and I’ll forget it all over
(MAX)
All these empty days, turn to years
Just to realise another fear - wish you could go away, so I can steer
But the wheel to sharp (destroyer) when dying feels too hard (destroyer)
(JADE)
you’re so sweet, but you knew that anyway
where to sleep- I’m freaking out, oh no!
waking down the street looking down
cause there’s nothing up there
life’s unfair - that’s okay
what do you say my friend
hello hello
hello my destroyer

each track uses the fact that its digital hardcore in its own unique way each time, rarely sounding similar to the other despite generally being noisy and in your face. i find this to be especially helped by Machine Girl's usage of unique samples or their own voices, which i can barely understand but honestly it really adds to the charm and aesthetic of this release. i know this album is 7 years old at the time of writing this, but it still holds up incredibly well.
